What you'll be doing
Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences and physical needs
Working alongside teachers, SEND professionals and therapists to deliver personalised support
Helping children develop fine motor skills, independence and confidence in the classroom
Using sensory strategies and therapeutic approaches to support learning and wellbeing
Building positive relationships with pupils and celebrating every success, big or small
We're looking for someone who
Holds a degree in Occupational Therapy or is due to graduate this year
Has a genuine interest in working with children with SEND
Is calm, patient and enjoys finding creative ways to help children succeed
Works well as part of a team and communicates confidently
Has experience with children or young people through placements, volunteering or previous work, although this isn't essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
